Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams suffered a mild disk herniation in his lower back and will be out until at least training camp.

Luckily for Williams, this injury can oftentimes be managed with anti-inflammatories and therapy, with steroid injections if necessary. Don’t expect him to need surgery unless his situation worsens drastically.

The Clemson product is expected to play a large role teamed up alongside gunslinger Philip Rivers as the Chargers look to surprise in their first season in Los Angeles.
