Panthers WR Curtis Samuel undergoes heart procedure

Carolina WR Curtis Samuel underwent a procedure on his heart for an irregular heartbeat and is expected to miss week one. My suspicion is he likely has a common cardiac arrhythmia, whether that’s AFib or a variant of AFib that needs to be corrected with an ablation. WPW is a very common version of this that we have seen an athletes recently, most notably LA Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen. Expect him to miss a couple weeks but he should be good to go after that.
