Joe Ross goes to DL with elbow strain-Dr. Morse

Update: After undergoing an MRI it has been revealed Ross will need Tommy John surgery which will keep him out 9-15 months

Washington Nationals Joe Ross lands on the DL with right elbow strain, expect him to be out 2 to 4 weeks. Treatment will include rest, anti-inflammatories and the appropriate rehabilitation program. If medical staff continues to be concerned they may need to get an MRI to assess his UCL and surrounding musculature.
