Minnesota Twins reliever Addison Reed has been placed on the DL with right elbow impingement. This is basically irritation of the nerve causing pain, weakness and sometimes numbness and tingling in the elbow/hand. The good news is that his UCL is intact. Usually rest, rehab and sometimes a steroid injection is enough. RTP 2-4 weeks.
