Twins 3B Miguel Sano to undergo further testing on injured shin, has yet to resume baseball-related activities. He has been having shin pain since August 19th. It is concerning that he cannot run yet. Must worry about a stress fracture. Will likely need an MRI or even CT scan to evaluate. If so, he can have options of PRP injections versus surgery with a rod. Alternatively he can also try to treat this without surgery and rest for an extended period of time. In any of these cases, the season would be over for him. If this is more of a stress reaction, return to play his two to four weeks.
