Miguel Sano headed to DL with stress reaction in shin-Dr. Morse

Twins Miguel Sano is heading to the DL with a stress reaction in his shin. Expect him to be out 1 to 2 weeks, and may need crutches to help prevent the stress reaction from becoming a stress fracture. He will need rest, anti-inflammatories, staying off the leg, and vitamin D to help with bone growth/healing. In addition there is some procedures being done including PRP to try to get some of the guys back faster. He may have this done as well. This is poor timing for the Twins who are in the middle of a playoff push.
