Texas Rangers relief pitcher Jose Leclerc will remain on the disabled list for little longer, as he had to stop his rehabilitation process due to tendinitis in his right middle finger.

With a steroid injection, Leclerc should be day-to-day but will generally spend another week on the sidelines to allow the tendinitis to fully heal. After that, Leclerc will resume his rehabilitation from when he was placed on the disabled list May 8th with a bone bruise on his right index finger.

Prior to the injury, Leclerc was 0-1 with a 2.31 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 11.7 innings pitched.
