Howie Kendrick placed on the DL with hamstring strain-Dr. Morse

Philadelphia Phillies placed second baseman and outfielder Howie Kendrick on the DL with a hamstring strain. He suffered the injury about a week ago but tried to play through it and was on unsuccessful. Look for him to miss 2 to 4 weeks.
