Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames left the Brewers’ 13-6 against the Chicago Cubs after an at-bat in the top of the fifth inning Sunday with leg cramping after attempting to leg out an RBI groundout.

This injury is usually a day-to-day scenario, but Thames may be out for next game or two in order for his cramping to quiet down. Rehydration, electrolyte rebalancing and stretching are key for Thames to get back on the field.

After spending three seasons in the Korean League, Thames has returned with a bang to the MLB, as he is batting .306 with 13 homeruns and 26 RBIs for the NL Central-leading Brewers.
