NHL Injuries

Eddie Lack carted off ice Monday-Dr. Parekh

Photographer: Greg Thompson/Icon Sportswire

Eddie Lack takes a compression blow to the neck and appears to hyperextend it. By video, concern for injury to the spinal column, spinal cord, or a concussion. Anticipate that through the night, he had X-rays and possibly a CT scan or MRI. Best case – concussion ( RTP unable to determine as each one has a different course). Worst case – injury to the spinal cord leading to permanent nerve damage.

UPDATE: Lack (strained neck) released from hospital
