Update: Reports suggest David Johnson dislocated his wrist. This will result in quite a bit of soft tissue damage. If one of the major ligaments is torn, could require surgery. Return to play is two to three months without surgery. With surgery, could be longer.
Cardinals RB David Johnson suffers left wrist injury, x-ray negative. He will get the MRI tomorrow. Best case wrist sprain and possibly day to day, but typically 1 to 2 weeks to return to play. Worst-case ligament damage or a fracture which would result in lengthy absence.
