Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy underwent surgery to repair damage to the articular cartilage in his right knee. He would have had a microfracture surgery for a cartilage defect in the knee. Usually 3-5 months RTP. Watch below our 3D animation on microfracture drilling:
