Update: According to the Ravens site TE Gillmore in fact had his MCL repaired and is likely going to miss the season.  With an MCL repair it typically is six to eight months to return to play.  Scar tissue can be a big factor with regards to pain after the repair.

Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore is having surgery tomorrow to fix his meniscus. Usually the meniscus is just cleaned up. If so, four to six weeks to return to play. If he has a repair it could be three to six months to return to play.
